Student Dormitory, FPCC, Poplar, Montana
eQUEST, our energy modeling program, creates a series of graphs that helps interpret the results from our analysis runs. This graph shows electricity consumption by month and end-use. As a student dormitory that will not be used in the summer, it makes sense that electricity usage would decrease during the summer months. However it is evident from this graph that light fixtures use the most electricity, something that could be offset by incorporating daylighting into the design and using energy-efficient light fixtures.
